Vicka's mom comes to visit

Here are a few recent pictures for you.
My permission to be in Provideniya is about to expire, so I had to return to Alaska. I got back here to AK Wednesday evening. My new paperwork should be ready soon and I hope to return inside a month. Vicka and the girls stayed in Provideniya this time so as to continue working on some paperwork for our apartment that we didn't really want to interupt. So to help Vicka while I was/am away, Vicka's mom made the trip to Provideniya to be with the girls while I am here in Alaska. They are having a wonderful time with mom/grandma, though I miss being with them and hope to return as soon as possible. (She arrived last Monday, which would have been your Sunday...last week...and I left on Thursday of that same week)

Here are a couple pictures of one of our rooms in our Provideniya apartment that we remodeled. Well, new wall paper, light switch and electrical plugs. :) I wish I had a "before" picture...

Back to Prov!

We finally made it back to Provideniya! We have actually been here almost two weeks now, but only now am getting a chance to post this update. Vicka and the girls are doing well. We will be here till at least mid-end of June as my current permission expires the end of June. We are still working out the plan on what to do at that time. One option is that Vicka will stay here to finish up some paperwork while I got back to AK and wait for a new permission. Her mom would come out to be with her and meet Stacia for the first time, and I would return about mid July after my new permission is ready... We will see what happens.
In the mean time working with the church, leading bible studies, fellowshipping and encouraging the believers here and working on various paperwork issues are keeping us busy. Our Russian friend Zhenya few over here with us. He is working along side us and we enjoy having him as part of our team.

Getting better

We suppose to be gone to Russia last Tuesday, but Emma and Anastasia were not well and we took them to the doctor. They both ended up with an ear infection! We had to cancel our flight. After taking antibiotics Emma got better right away but she is still not hearing well. Anastasia got better on Wednesday and she is not hearing well also. Please pray for their health and hearing. We hope to go to Russia on the 13th of May if the weather permit.

Just before girls got sick we went to a birthday party for Emma's friend. It was so fun to watch Emma playing Dress Up:) She likes to dress up but we do not have kids "Dress up" clothes. That is why she is using every opportunity to do it when we are visiting her friends.

Today is a special day. It is my true loves birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Vicka! I pray this new year brings you much joy. I also pray that we may continue to grow closer together and closer to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!

Update on Anastasia

Today I went to the Doctor with Stacia as she keeps coughing when she sleeps and just as the day goes. I also explaned the Doctor what happened last Thursday after I immunized her on Wednsday. (she couldn't get up on her own, was hirting and very lethargic, she had a fiver and cryed every diper change, she just layed all day) He said that she probably reacted on one of the shots (MMR or Varicella) He said that I shouldn't give her any more of those. She is doing better and her longs are good she just have a cold.

Anastasia got her third tooth and she will be getting more soon:) She is not walking yet, but she can say "bye, bye" and wave:) She knows that she is one years old and she do not go to sleep on time anymore:)
