Not so happy week

There is nothing much to say but that we were sick this week. Anastasia started it all, than Emma, than me. Seems like this stomach flu decided to stay longer with us and we were having all kind of problems with it all week long. You can pray for us to get over it. It is hard to see your little children not well and not happy, with no appetite and joy...
We were doing better today. I hope it will stay that way:)

Emma's Easter eggs hunt

You may not know but in Alaska we hunt Easter eggs in the snow:) This was Emma's second time to look for eggs in Easter and she was very excited about it. She likes hunting eggs:) She had some help from everybody and it was a lot of fun!

Anastasia's first Easter

In the morning we went to the Sunrise service at 7:45 and ate breakfast at church after that. We participated in Easter choir this year and we enjoyed it very much. After Worship service we had dinner at our friends house where Emma got to hunt some eggs indoors and outside.

We had several days of nice sunshine and I felt very tropical like. So I told Emma to collect all her gifts from Hawaii and she posed for my picture

King of the Hill

Nate and I (GJ) got a chance to do a little hiking before he flew back home. Here are a few pics along "Skyline trail". Yup, we did pack a snowboard up with us to have a little fun with. :)

On the beach

Today GJ and Nate went to church at 7 in the morning to play basketball. After that we went to "Moose is Loose" for breakfast. Because boys we going to go for a hike in the afternoon we decided to go to the beach before and to see more of the beauty of Kenai. In order to get to the beach you have to walk on the big formation of ice. Nathaniel and Emma decided to make that trip anyway.

Oh so sweet

We had a good time with Nate down in Homer. Was a quick trip, but you can tell from the pictures it was a good one!

Nathaniel visits

Nathaniel comes to Alaska to visit us for the first time. Little does he know he will never leave!!!!
Emma constantly asks Nate to come see her new room and play with her; she doesn't like it when Nate leaves with me in the morning to go to work...she likes her Uncle Nate.

Girls and the Big Ball

On Friday Emma, Anastasia and I (Vicka) had a lot of fun with the "Big Ball". Emma figured out a way to jump on it by putting the ball near the couch and climbing up on it holding herself against the couch. We all took turns. Anastasia liked to lay on her belly and she was moving her feet up and down rocking herself on it.
